이정표를 따라 달려온 이 길 끝에
결국 나를 기다리고 있었던 것은
바로 이 성이라는 것을 깨달았어요.

하지만 지금 내 눈앞에 서 있는 이 성은
이전과는 어딘가 다른 느낌이 들었어요.

화려하고 웅장하지만 어딘가 모르게 차갑고
비어있는 듯한 공허함이 있었어요.

그래서 오늘, 저는 그 이유를 찾기 위해
오리와 함께 이 성 안으로 들어가 보려 합니다.


道しるべに従って走り抜けてきた、この道の果て。
そこで私を待っていたのは、
他でもない「この城」であったのだと、今、ようやく気づきました。

けれど、目の前にそびえ立つ城は、
以前に知っていたものとはどこか違っています。

煌びやかで、あまりに壮大。 ……
それなのに、どこか冷たく、中身が抜け落ちてしまったかのような
虚無感が漂っているのです。

そこで、今日、その理由を探るため、
アヒルと共に、この城の奥深くへと
入ってみようと思います。

I realised that at the end of this path, which I had followed by following the signposts, what had been waiting for me all along was this very castle.
